Loshini Naidoo
Associate Professor Loshini Naidoo is a senior lecturer in sociology of education at the University of Western Sydney, Australia. Her academic areas of interest include transition and aspirations of refugee, migrant, Aboriginal and low SES students in Greater Western Sydney, school-university partnerships and language and literacy development. She was the recipient of numerous national and international teaching awards for her outstanding contribution to student learning. She has led several externally funded competitive grants, the largest and most recent being a cross-institutional Office of Learning and Teaching grant that investigated school-university partnerships for refugee students’ access and participation in tertiary education.
