Jennie Billot
Dr Jennie BILLOT is Head of Researcher Development at Auckland University of Technology, leading projects that support and develop academic staff and student researchers. Her university initiatives focus on building researcher capacity and capability, enhancing supervision, supervisor mentoring and doctoral skill development. Jennie’s personal research interests and expertise lie in the domain of educational leadership, previously instigating leadership programmes and projects as director of several research centres. She also researches academic identity and developing research communities. As Associate Editor for Higher Education Research and Development and reviewer for international journals, Jennie actively contributes to scholarship within higher education. In recognition of her publication and project portfolio, Jennie was awarded the New Zealand Educational Administration and Leadership Society Award for meritorious research and scholarship.
