Kimberley Reyes
Kimberly A. Reyes is a doctoral candidate at the University of Michigan’s Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education. During her early career in undergraduate admissions at two highly selective universities, Kim began to develop questions about disparities in postsecondary access and equity that ultimately led to graduate study. While at the University of Michigan, Kim has been involved in equity-minded research and advocacy projects at both the National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good and the National Center for Institutional Diversity. Currently, Kim is a graduate research assistant for Dr. Julie Posselt, with whom she is using organizational theory and social movement theory to examine how the ideologies of merit and race impact the organization of higher education policy and practice.
