Spencer A. Benson
Prof. Spencer Benson, Director, Centre for Teaching and Learning Enhancement, and Professor in Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Macau SAR, PRC. He is the 2002 US CASE-Carnegie Maryland Professor of the Year and recipient of the 2011 American Society for Microbiology Carski Teaching Award. He is the chair of the American Society for Microbiology International Education Committee and a 2008-09 Fulbright Fellow to Hong Kong working on general education. From 2003 to 2013 he was Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence at the University of Maryland, MD, US.
