Meg Colasante

Meg Colasante (MEd) has a background in teaching and training across the sectors of the health industry, vocational education, and higher education. With a decade of experience as an Instructional Designer and Educational Developer at RMIT University, Melbourne, within the College of Science, Engineering and Health, based in the college Academic Development Group, Meg is now Manager, Scholarship of Learning and Teaching within the same department. Designing for learning, active learning with media and technology, and teacher practice initiated learning interventions are key professional and research interests. Meg was part of a small team that won the RMIT University 2010 Teaching and Research Team Award for Programs that Enhance Learning: Innovation in curricula, learning and teaching. Citation: ‘For the creation of the Media Annotation Tool (MAT), a pedagogically based learning tool which facilitates student learning with media, through reflection, feedback and sharing’.
