Jane Kellett

Jane Kellett, Assoc.Dip.Arts, BSc, MSc, GradCertHigherEd, is a lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics within the Faculty of Health at the University of Canberra. Jane has been the course convener for the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Canberra since it commenced in 2005. Prior to that Jane gained experience as a Clinical and Food Service Dietitian in Sydney. Jane’s expertise and knowledge in the field of nutrition and dietetics has been recognised by her status of Advanced Accredited Practicing Dietitian (AdvAPD), an honour which has only been given to 1% of Australian Accredited Practising Dietitians. Jane’s contribution to student learning has been recognised with three Vice-Chancellor’s Teaching Awards at the University of Canberra. She received a 2010 University of Canberra Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning (for approaches to the support of learning and teaching that influence, motivate and inspire students to learn). She also received a 2011 University of Canberra Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning (for development of curricula and resources that reflect a command of the field, and scholarly activities that have influenced and enhanced learning and teaching), and a 2011 Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence for an Early Career Academic. In 2014, she also received a University of Canberra, Faculty of Health commendation for Excellence in Teaching.
