Julia Savage

Dr Julia Savage is a lecturer – Learning Research and Evaluation Her work is in higher education professional learning with particular interests in innovative, inclusive curriculum and teaching practice, Scholarship of Learning and Teaching, and professional learning design. Her role is informed by a background in education as a teacher and Director of Professional Learning in a K-12 education setting, and, as a lecturer in curriculum and teaching method in a School of Education. Her research interests are broad; educational leadership, curriculum design and teaching practice, culturally-inclusive pedagogy, and Scholarship of Learning and Teaching within a university setting. Dr. Vikki Pollard is a Lecturer – Learning Research and Evaluation. In this role she contributes to the development of teaching capacities of Deakin staff. Before working at Deakin Vikki was working at the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE developing the first Masters degree to be delivered from the TAFE sector. Her research interests are in Reflective Practice, creativity in education and critical ontologies in education.
