Katrine Sonnenschein

Katrine Sonnenschein is a third year PhD student enrolled at Griffith University. She holds a MA in Translation and Interpretation (Copenhagen Business School) and a MA in International Politics (Université Libre de Bruxelles). She worked as a student counselor from 2008 to 2011 at Copenhagen Business School. She then became particularly interested in optimization of information about student life at Copenhagen Business School and cultural conditions in Denmark for international students and potential applicants from abroad. Her PhD research examines the expectations and reflections of diverse stakeholders in relation to graduate attributes needed by Chinese graduates with an Australian degree in tourism and hospitality seeking to enter the Chinese hotel industry. Furthermore, she investigates how the Australian university prepares the Chinese international students with the required graduate attributes.
